Youth with Disabilities 6–12: Password to Internet Safety

Distance Learning | Our Location | Outreach

Duration: 30 Min.

Students will learn about the pros and cons of internet usage and ways to stay safe online including the use of strong passwords, protecting personal information, developing a positive online reputation, and appropriate media balance. There is an emphasis on cyberbullying and what information is suitable to share online. In a world where everything is going viral, it is important for students to know how to be safe and to be aware of some of the consequences that can arise from internet usage.

This and all of our programs for individuals with disabilities can be customized to the needs of the students.
